Minimalism

Finding value in all things we do and have makes sense to me.

It feels like weaning out of those things/ relationships/ dreams that don't add value to our life, that don't make us happy and content would make me a happier more content person.

It's not about having nothing it's about finding meaning and giving energy to the stuff that matters to us.

Why have that friendship with someone sucking the life out of you? Why keep the iPod you don't use anymore just in case? Why spend time cooking exotic foods just because your family want you too?

It seems having chronic illness makes the question of finding value in everything you have/ do/ think more important.

We only have so many spoons. Why not spend them on things that matter to you, instead of caring what the world thinks.
