When One Door Closes, Another One Opens...(And All Positive Stuff Like That!)

Okay, so unfortunately our Crowdfunder Project didnt work out as we didnt reach our £2000 fundraising target. But good things came out of the Crowdfunding, like more awareness of the F.I.T community as well as a kind young man offering us the use of a function room in his leisure centre to hold a F.I.T quarterly support meeting :-) weyhey!

Plus we now have a GO-FUND-ME fundraising page which will be running continuously and therefore will accept donations, however big or small, for the forseeable future. Here's the link for THAT!

so, Christmas is around the corner (for those of you who celebrate it) which often means fun times spent with families but can mean feeling lonely for many others. Christmas can also be a very trying time for those of us with a chronic illness; the pain, fatigue and anxieties that surround being ill (and tripled by 10 because it's christmas!) So, whatever you are doing this christmas, just remember - youre doing the very best you can, and that's all you can do :)

So, of course, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Bring on the festive cheer, stay away from beer (if you take a lot of medication like me...) and always feed the reindeer, and yes... you know what I mean, right? Basically, just enjoy it as much as possible, and think of others who are worse off than ourseleves - because no matter how ill you are, there's always someone worse off than ourselves.

Stay warm and I wish you all better days ahead. With Love Xx
